Digital Distribution Manager

About the role

Safaricom Ethiopia, a purpose‑led technology company transforming lives through digital connectivity and inclusive financial services, is looking for a Digital Distribution Manager. The role will lead the digital and mobile sales strategy, develop distribution channels for mobile money, and design commission models for partners and agents.

Key responsibilities

• Drive digital and mobile sales and define the go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy for mobile money distribution.
• Develop and manage a network of micro‑merchant channels for payments, mobile money transfers, and airtime distribution.
• Design, implement and monitor commission models for all sales partners and agents.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless transfer of mobile money services.
• Track and analyze channel performance data to optimize commission structures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for mobile money distribution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital/mobile sales and distribution strategy.
• Strong background in channel development, especially with micro‑merchant networks.
• Experience designing and rolling out commission structures for sales partners.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving telecom and financial services environment.
