Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely executing planned and corrective maintenance on production equipment. The role focuses on improving key performance indicators, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with safety and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance activities safely, on‑time, and in‑full (OTIF) following LOTO and minor‑intervention procedures.
• Execute legal‑related maintenance tasks and adhere to HACCP food‑safety requirements.
• Carry out planned, corrective, and breakdown maintenance, tagging equipment and creating work orders in the CMMS.
• Coach and train operators on autonomous maintenance (CILT, AM) and assist with machine fine‑tuning.
• Participate in service, overhaul, and root‑cause failure analysis (RCFA/BDA) activities.
• Maintain a 5S‑organized work area and support APM roll‑out initiatives.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent vocational education.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and knowledge of TPM and autonomous maintenance.
• Independent user of Windows, Office, and Maximo CMMS.

Required skills

• Low‑voltage electrical work and certified LOTO procedures.
• Technical drawing interpretation (AutoCAD, P&ID, wiring diagrams).
• Process automation control basics.
• Proficiency with Maximo CMMS.
• Competence with Windows and Office applications.
