ENT Surgeon

About the role

The ENT Surgeon will join Medina Primary Hospital to provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions. This full‑time, on‑site position involves outpatient consultations, surgical procedures and inpatient care coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient ENT consultations and assess patients.
• Perform ENT‑related surgical procedures and manage peri‑operative care.
• Oversee inpatient care and coordinate follow‑up treatment plans.
• Collaborate with orthopaedic, plastic and ophthalmology specialists on multidisciplinary cases.
• Participate in case discussions, quality‑improvement and patient‑safety initiatives.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment options and preventive care.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency or specialty training in Otolaryngology/ENT Surgery.
• Valid medical licence or eligibility for licensure in Ethiopia, in good standing.
• Strong foundation in general medicine and experience managing a wide range of clinical conditions.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, teamwork and culturally sensitive care.
