Finance, Administration & HR Officer – Addis Ababa

About the role

The Finance, Administration and HR Officer is responsible for the financial management, accounting procedures, human‑resource processes and administrative support of the Ethiopia Country Office. The role ensures accurate recording of transactions, compliance with national legislation and Johanniter policies, and effective administrative systems to support programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Record all expenditures in the SUN upload template and ensure timely monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly Budget Variance Analysis reports and organise review meetings with programme teams and partners.
• Verify payment requests, prepare vouchers, and ensure compliance with procurement and financial procedures.
• Manage cash flow, conduct cash counts, bank reconciliations and oversee treasury functions.
• Upload partner expenditures to SUN and review partner financial documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Oversee HR procedures, ensuring they meet national legislation and Johanniter policies.
• Maintain administrative systems that support programme operations.
