Full-Stack AI Engineer

About the role

The Full-Stack AI Engineer will design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end AI‑powered web applications that enable AiSyncSo’s multi‑channel AI agents. This full‑time, on‑site position in Addis Ababa works closely with product, data and operations teams to deliver scalable back‑end APIs, responsive front‑end interfaces and reliable integration layers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable back‑end services and RESTful APIs.
• Build responsive front‑end components for web‑based user interfaces.
• Integrate AI/ML models into production systems and manage data flows.
• Ensure security, high availability and performance of the platform.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and troubleshoot production issues.
• Document technical solutions and support deployment workflows.
• Continuously improve the platform based on user and stakeholder feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑stack development across the entire technology stack.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture, RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience deploying and maintaining production services on cloud platforms with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and integrating models or AI services into applications (highly advantageous).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Effective communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
