About the role
EssilorLuxottica is seeking a dynamic leader to head its Professional Solutions business in Ethiopia. The role combines full responsibility for the subsidiary’s commercial performance with strategic oversight of sales, marketing and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead all subsidiary activities with a strong focus on sales and P&L performance.
- Set and achieve annual commercial objectives, including sales, distribution, range and marketing targets.
- Develop and execute market‑growth strategies and action plans for targeted segments.
- Analyse market trends, identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks to profit or volume.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning to maximise short‑ and long‑term returns.
- Coordinate with the global Marketing Department to implement ATL and BTL campaigns efficiently.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, tax, customs, FDA and other regulatory requirements.
- Expand market share, distribution channels and the customer base.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of management experience, preferably in the health sector.
- Strong business acumen with analytical attention to detail.
- Degree in Business or related field.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage uncertainty and drive strategic change.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Good knowledge of Ethiopian tax, customs, FDA and related regulations.
