Junior Legal Officer and HR Officer (Junior & Senior)

About the role

Digaf Microcredit Providers, a tech‑driven microfinance institute partnered with the Ethiopian Ministry of Labor and Skills, is recruiting qualified professionals for three key positions: Junior Legal Officer, Junior HR Officer and Senior HR Officer. The roles support the institute’s mission to deliver affordable digital loan products to low‑ and medium‑income individuals across Ethiopia.

Key responsibilities

• Junior Legal Officer: Provide legal support, draft documents, and advise on Ethiopian laws and court procedures.
• Junior HR Officer: Support recruitment, manage performance systems, ensure HR policy compliance, and assist with HR analytics and documentation.
• Senior HR Officer: Lead recruitment, implement performance management, ensure regulatory compliance, foster a high‑performing culture, and drive HR analytics, documentation management and workforce planning.

Required profile

• Junior Legal Officer: LLB degree, 1–2 years relevant experience, strong knowledge of Ethiopian law, good communication and drafting abilities.
• Junior HR Officer: Entry‑level graduate ready to support HR functions.
• Senior HR Officer: Proven senior‑level HR experience with ability to lead teams and strategic HR initiatives.
