Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist

About the role

Palladium is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to support a health‑systems strengthening project in Ethiopia. The role is fixed‑term, based in Addis Ababa, and involves regular travel to project sites across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify, analyse and report data that demonstrate project results.
• Coordinate routine data collection and indicator reporting across technical teams and 14 regional offices.
• Lead field verification missions and conduct data‑quality assessments.
• Assemble source documentation required for independent verification of each project result.
• Support the MEL and Evidence Lead in preparing regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in health or development projects.
• Ability to travel frequently within Ethiopia and work with diverse technical teams.
• Legal authorization to work in Ethiopia (no visa sponsorship).
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to data quality.
