Online Tutor (Part‑time, Remote)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic online tutors to deliver live, virtual tutoring sessions for Grade 6 learners. This part‑time remote position allows you to work from any location while providing personalized academic support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct live virtual tutoring sessions and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Prepare lesson plans and learning materials aligned with curriculum or exam requirements.
• Explain concepts clearly, assign practice work, and give constructive feedback.
• Communicate regularly with learners (and guardians when applicable) to set goals and track progress.
• Utilise online tools and digital resources to keep sessions engaging and accurate.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in one or more academic areas.
• Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable internet connection, suitable device, and a quiet professional workspace.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is highly beneficial.
• Relevant academic qualifications (college coursework, degree, or education certification).
• Fluent English speaker, energetic, and passionate about teaching.

Required skills

• Proficiency with online learning platforms.
• Experience using video‑conferencing tools.
