Part-time Marketing Officer

About the role

Hakim Plus Pharmacy is expanding its modern pharmacy network across Addis Ababa and needs a results‑oriented Marketing Officer to support its growth. This part‑time position combines field work with digital outreach, allowing you to shape customer acquisition and partnership strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing activities that drive foot traffic and digital app usage.
• Promote the pharmacy’s digital platforms and mobile applications to customers and partners.
• Identify, test, and refine new customer acquisition ideas.
• Visit insurers, clinics, companies, apartments and potential partners to generate leads.
• Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers, insurers, and businesses.
• Support both digital and local marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the team on technology‑enabled services and growth initiatives.
• Track performance metrics and submit weekly reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Management or a related field.
• Experience in marketing, sales or business development (preferred).
• Strong communication, negotiation and follow‑up abilities.
• Comfortable with fieldwork and approaching new partners.
• Ability to work independently and meet measurable targets.
• Growth mindset with ambition to create long‑term value.
• Ownership mentality and willingness to take initiative beyond assigned tasks.
