About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Associate to support its Protection Unit in Ethiopia. Based in Dewele, the role will contribute to the Migrant Protection and Assistance sub‑unit, focusing on non‑emergency programmes such as counter‑trafficking, assistance to vulnerable migrants and community outreach.

Key responsibilities

Support the implementation of protection programmes, including counter‑trafficking and assistance to vulnerable migrants.
Coordinate community outreach activities and referrals through Migration Response Centres.
Collaborate with government authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders to reduce protection risks.
Assist in data collection, reporting and documentation of protection interventions.
Contribute to capacity‑building initiatives and advocacy efforts within the protection sector.
