Senior Liquidity and Market Risk Analyst

About the role

The Senior Liquidity and Market Risk Analyst will strengthen the bank's ability to manage liquidity and market risk exposures. This role involves developing policies, monitoring risk metrics, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain liquidity and market risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Identify, assess, measure, and monitor liquidity and market risk exposures across the bank.
• Evaluate the adequacy of capital to absorb liquidity, market, and operational risks.
• Support the creation of risk models, stress‑testing frameworks, and early‑warning indicators.
• Conduct stress‑testing exercises and analyse the bank’s resilience under adverse scenarios.
• Collaborate with treasury and balance‑sheet management teams to provide strategic insights.
• Mentor junior staff and promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.

Required profile

• Minimum BA degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• At least five years of relevant banking experience, including two years in an officer‑level position.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex risk data.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
