Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper will support medical teams by managing logistics at the field level. Working closely with the Logistic Officer and Field Office, you will ensure accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of goods and supplies while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, update stock cards and databases regularly.
• Issue goods according to approved requisitions and keep proper documentation.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and report any discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels, alert relevant departments of low or expired items, and ensure security of the store.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and program teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain a database of suppliers and ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement and logistics, preferably with donor‑funded projects or INGOs.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Amharic.
