Youth Facilitator / Trainer

About the role

The Youth Facilitator/Trainer will implement community‑level activities for the FSL & R Project in Dilla Zuria. Reporting to the Youth Livelihood Officer, the role supports program planning, coordination, and communication with communities and partners to ensure successful delivery of training and livelihood components.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the program and deliver coaching and training activities within the assigned Woreda.
• Deliver business and life‑skills training for women and girls using the approved curriculum.
• Conduct follow‑up sessions with trainees, answer questions, and ensure correct curriculum implementation.
• Facilitate youth workforce development activities, including trainings, coaching, mentoring, and work‑placement programs.
• Adapt curriculum in collaboration with LEEP staff to meet the needs of young women.
• Perform post‑training assessments and support trainees in developing business plans.
• Provide technical support to beneficiaries setting up small businesses and conduct mentoring visits.
• Organise special learning events, guest speaker sessions, and showcase events for trainees.
• Prepare and revise action plans, monthly progress reports, and analysis of training outcomes.
• Mobilise stakeholders, collect program data, and ensure regular reporting.

Required profile

• Experience delivering training and coaching for women, girls, and youth.
• Ability to conduct follow‑up assessments and provide technical support for small‑business start‑ups.
• Strong communication skills for community engagement and stakeholder coordination.
• Capability to prepare reports, action plans, and monitor program data.
