About the role
Shabelle Bank is hiring two full‑time Card Banking Officers in Addis Ababa – one junior and one senior – to support and oversee its card banking and digital payment services.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily card transactions, flag issues and ensure system performance.
- Investigate and resolve routine (junior) or complex (senior) transaction problems with branches, customers and service providers.
- Coordinate reconciliation activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare operational and management reports on transaction trends and system performance.
- Support process improvements and digital finance transformation initiatives.
Required profile
- Master’s degree with 2 years (junior) or 4 years (senior) relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years (junior) or 6 years (senior) experience, including at least 2 years in an IT officer role for the senior position.
- Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or related engineering fields.
