Junior Consultant – BRIDGE+ Dairy Project

About the role

The Junior Consultant will support the BRIDGE+ project in Addis Ababa, helping to improve dairy sector transformation. The role focuses on facilitating data collection, coaching service providers, and supporting operational activities across the project.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance and coaching to service providers on data collection tools, farm advice and production data recording.
• Collect monthly extension and agro‑input dealer data from service providers and enter it into the LogAlto system.
• Support biogas technology promotion, bio‑slurry market linkages and school feeding studies with faith‑based organisations.
• Facilitate capacity development services for smallholder and commercial dairy farmers, agro‑input dealers and small‑scale dairy processors.
• Assist in organizing exhibitions for agro‑input dealers to promote B2B linkages among input suppliers, feed processors and dairy producers.

Required profile

• BA degree in management or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in project implementation facilitation.
• Experience working in dairy‑sector projects or related agricultural development programmes.
• Hands‑on experience with mobile data collection platforms such as Kobo Toolbox and project data systems such as LogAlto.
• Experience with urban and peri‑urban agriculture is highly desirable.
