Marketing Officer

About the role

The Marketing Officer will lead the planning, execution and optimisation of marketing campaigns for UNIQUE’s technology and advertising services. Working in a hybrid setting from Addis Ababa, the role bridges digital and traditional channels to boost client visibility and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and optimise marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Conduct market research and analyse customer, competitor and industry data to generate actionable insights.
• Manage social media presence, create and schedule content, and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with sales and technology teams to align marketing activities with business objectives.
• Prepare marketing reports, track KPIs and support client presentations and proposals.

Required profile

• Strong background in marketing and sales with ability to translate business goals into campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment and managing multiple projects.
• Interest in technology and advertising services.
