Product Manager & Business Lead (Platform Builder)

About the role

We are seeking a Product Manager / Business Lead to drive the creation, launch and scaling of Demokrat – a new platform that connects brands, creators, commerce and community. This zero‑to‑one role will translate the vision of a cultural‑intelligence driven ecosystem into a market‑ready product and revenue engine.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap, translating vision into MVP milestones, feature prioritisation and sprint plans.
• Lead UX direction, coordinate development, design and data teams, and ensure releases meet user behaviour and market needs.
• Design scalable business models (subscription, commission, SaaS), set pricing strategy, build financial projections and prepare investor‑ready documentation.
• Analyse digital trends on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube and social commerce to identify market gaps in Ethiopia and broader African markets.
• Plan and execute MVP launch, pilot testing and go‑to‑market strategy, tracking KPIs such as CAC, LTV, creator retention and brand adoption.
• Produce performance reports and strategic recommendations for growth optimisation.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in product management, SaaS, digital platforms or growth roles within startups.
• Proven ability to take a concept from idea to market traction and generate revenue.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in market intelligence and financial modelling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
