Immunization Project Coordinator (Female)

About the role

The Immunization Project Coordinator will lead the implementation of Save the Children’s GSK‑funded immunization program in Ethiopia. The role focuses on reaching zero‑dose and under‑immunized children, ensuring equitable access to life‑saving vaccines and essential health services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor project activities across target regions, ensuring alignment with national immunization strategies.
• Manage data collection, reporting, and performance monitoring to track vaccination coverage and equity indicators.
• Facilitate community engagement and demand‑raising activities to increase uptake of routine immunizations.
• Ensure compliance with child safeguarding policies, including police checking and vetting of staff.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with ministries of health, local NGOs, and academic institutions.
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, and procurement plans in line with donor requirements.

Required profile

• Female candidate, national of Ethiopia.
• Proven experience in health or immunization project coordination.
• Strong understanding of child safeguarding standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in remote settings and travel within the country.
