IT Manager

About the role

We are seeking an IT Manager to lead the information technology function at the head office of Meftihe Microfinance Institution. The role will ensure that all IT systems and services support the institution’s mission of expanding financial inclusion across urban and rural communities in Ethiopia.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, implementation and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure and services at the head office.
• Ensure reliable operation of hardware, software and network resources that enable micro‑finance operations.
• Coordinate IT support for staff, manage vendor relationships and supervise any junior IT personnel.
• Maintain data security and backup procedures in line with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Engineering, MIS, IT or a related field.
• Four to six years of relevant experience in information technology.
• At least one year of experience in a senior or supervisory IT position.
