Paid IT Support Intern – On‑site at International School

About the role

Flipper International School is seeking a motivated paid IT Support Intern to join its on‑site IT team. This full‑time position will give you hands‑on experience supporting the school’s technical infrastructure across multiple campuses in Addis Ababa.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for hardware and software issues reported by staff and students.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems on desktop computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Assist with help‑desk ticket handling and system administration tasks.
• Maintain, repair, and configure desktop computers and related equipment.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure reliable operation of networked systems and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an on‑site team.
• Interest in supporting IT systems within an educational environment is a plus.
