Partnership Coordinator – Ethiopia (Addis Ababa)

About the role

The Partnership Coordinator will manage and strengthen relationships with partners at NRC’s Ethiopia Country Office and, when needed, Area Offices. Working closely with programme, finance and specialist teams, the coordinator ensures partners are aware of donor compliance rules, reporting deadlines and NRC procedures, while providing the necessary support for smooth project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of new partnerships and support the management of existing ones.
• Provide help‑desk support to partners on compliance with NRC and donor requirements.
• Act as the main focal point for contracting, sub‑granting and due‑diligence processes.
• Maintain regular communication between NRC and partners, ensuring timely information flow.
• Support the integration of safe and inclusive programming (SIP) and do‑no‑harm principles into projects.
• Collaborate with grants and communications teams to increase visibility of partnerships and package success stories.
• Represent NRC in local civil‑society networks and contribute to strategic partnership discussions.

Required profile

• Experience in partnership or stakeholder management within the humanitarian sector.
• Familiarity with donor compliance regulations and reporting procedures.
• Ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and manage contractual processes.
