Remote Journalist – Content Creation for Consulting Firm

About the role

The Journalist role is a full‑time, remote position responsible for researching, developing, and delivering news and feature content related to Sapphire Solutions’ areas of expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Identify story ideas and gather information from internal subject‑matter experts and external sources.
• Conduct interviews, verify facts, and write/edit articles, news briefs, press releases, and other communications for digital and broadcast channels.
• Collaborate with communications and leadership teams to plan editorial calendars and adapt content for different audiences and platforms.

Required profile

• Strong writing skills with ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent editorial judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to ethical, non‑partisan reporting standards.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines consistently.

Required skills

• Press release creation and formatting aligned with organizational messaging.
• Research, interview, and fact‑checking techniques.
• Knowledge of broadcasting principles and preparation of content for audio, video, or digital media.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools and content management systems.
