SAP Technical Support Officer – Addis Ababa

About the role

The SAP Technical Support Officer provides technical assistance for SAP applications, ensuring stable system operations and smooth business processes. This position works closely with development and quality assurance teams to configure applications, resolve incidents, and analyse the impact of system changes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support across SAP systems to maintain operational stability.
• Configure SAP applications according to business requirements.
• Resolve incidents and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Administer SAP environments in Development (DEV) and Quality Assurance (QA) settings.
• Perform impact analysis for system changes and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure effective process execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in SAP technical support or similar roles.
• Strong collaboration, teamwork and communication abilities.
• Adaptability, continuous improvement mindset, and customer‑centric approach.
• Data‑driven decision making, professionalism, and respect for diversity.
