Senior Account Manager

About the role

You will be the first point of contact for clients and the trusted liaison for the creative team. You will translate vague requests like “make it pop” into clear, actionable briefs, keep multiple deliverables and approval chains on schedule, and interpret monthly performance numbers before anyone asks.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact and coordinate with the creative team.
• Convert client ideas into detailed briefs that guide production.
• Manage several deliverables, approval processes and timelines simultaneously.
• Track campaign performance and explain monthly metrics to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of agency account management or client‑service experience.
• Proven track record running monthly retainers with campaign planning, social media and brand strategy.
• Ability to manage timelines, budgets and creative teams without micromanaging.
• Comfort presenting to senior clients and pushing back on unclear briefs.
• Strong reporting skills to turn dashboards into concise executive summaries.
• Fluent in Amharic and English, both written and spoken.
• Degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
