Senior Product Designer (Freelance)

About the role

Merixstudio is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join its in‑house design team as a freelance collaborator. You will work remotely on exciting client projects, delivering visually striking and user‑centered digital products from concept to developer‑ready assets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full design lifecycle, creating wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, and pixel‑perfect deliverables.
• Apply a UI‑first mindset while ensuring solid UX foundations.
• Build and maintain component libraries and design systems for consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate goals into design direction.
• Present and defend design decisions to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Support sales and delivery teams by showcasing the value of high‑quality UI/UX during the sales process.
• Stay up‑to‑date with UI/UX trends, tools, and innovations, bringing fresh ideas to the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI or digital product design.
• Strong visual eye with a passion for creating beautiful, usable interfaces.
• Ability to work independently, hit the ground running, and deliver high‑quality work without extensive onboarding.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating design rationale.
