About the role
The Senior Sales Operations Officer will act as the execution arm of the Commercial function, ensuring data accuracy, timely reporting, and smooth order‑to‑cash processes. Based on‑site in Addis Ababa, the role supports the Commercial Lead by maintaining SAP data integrity, tracking contracts, and driving cross‑functional coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Execute day‑to‑day sales operations, guaranteeing data accuracy and timely reporting.
- Maintain SAP data integrity, manage collections follow‑up, and track contracts.
- Analyse performance data, develop sales forecasts and identify efficiency opportunities.
- Streamline sales processes, improve CRM usage and provide regular KPI reports.
- Coordinate with sales, finance and other functions to ensure operational rhythm and commercial visibility.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics or IT.
- 2–4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Support, Finance or Data Analysis.
- Experience in technology, IT equipment or consumer electronics is preferred.
- Strong organisational, multitasking, leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in English; Amharic is highly desirable.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel (Power Query, complex formulas, PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
- Intermediate Power BI (dashboard creation, publishing, refresh management).
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems for sales order processing, billing and reporting.
