About the role
We are looking for individuals to take part in a short‑term research study that evaluates a voice‑assistant system. The role is fully remote and involves a few phone interactions over a two‑week period, allowing you to use your own voice and everyday questions to help improve the technology.
Key responsibilities
- Make five phone calls to the voice‑assistant within approximately one week, asking real‑life questions about health, work, education, or daily needs.
- Each call should last between 5 and 15 minutes and be conducted naturally without a script.
- Complete a brief feedback survey (about five minutes) after each call.
- Agree to have the calls recorded and transcribed for evaluation purposes.
Required profile
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Fluent in English and able to place phone calls independently.
- Preferably a feature‑phone user or a smartphone user with limited data access.
- Limited prior experience with voice assistants is preferred.
- Open to participants of any gender, from both rural and urban areas.
