Account Manager

About the role

The Account Manager will manage relationships with Unity University’s institutional partners, corporate clients and internal stakeholders. Working from a hybrid setting in Addis Ababa, you will ensure that services are delivered on time, contracts are honoured and client expectations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a portfolio of key partner and client accounts.
• Respond to inquiries, track service requests and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Prepare proposals, reports and meeting notes for diverse stakeholders.
• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to resolve issues and ensure contract performance.
• Monitor billing, payment follow‑up and documentation in university systems.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and support outreach initiatives.

• Strong relationship‑building and customer service orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised, able to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and recommend solutions.
• Professional conduct and respect for a multicultural academic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Experience using word‑processing software.
• Familiarity with CRM or similar account‑management systems.
