Air Freight Sales Delegate

About the role

The Air Freight Sales Delegate is responsible for driving new business and expanding existing accounts within the logistics sector. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, promoting a full suite of transport and supply‑chain services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across air, sea, road, warehousing, customs clearance and supply‑chain services.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals and on‑site visits.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customers and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations and prepare commercial quotations.
• Understand client requirements, propose tailored logistics solutions and follow up on proposals.
• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with existing customers, conducting regular visits and business reviews.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, address concerns promptly and support the resolution of complaints with operations teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within logistics, freight forwarding or transport services.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a results‑driven mindset.
• Ability to understand complex supply‑chain needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a track record of building lasting relationships.
