API & Integration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an API & Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust API services and integration solutions that connect our core banking, payment switches, and mobile banking platforms. The role will focus on delivering secure, high‑performance interfaces that enable seamless data exchange across financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document REST and SOAP APIs using JSON or XML payloads.
• Implement integration patterns and message‑queue solutions for reliable data flow.
• Apply API security protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and TLS.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate core banking, payment switches, and mobile banking platforms.
• Maintain version control, support CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot integration issues.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in API development, systems integration or software engineering.
• Experience integrating with core banking systems, payment switches, or mobile banking platforms is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
