Assistant Manager - Project Sales

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Project Sales will drive growth for a portfolio of paints, waterproofing systems, floor coatings, tile adhesives, repair & rehabilitation products, and construction chemicals. The role focuses on generating project pipelines, securing product specifications, and expanding market penetration through direct and channel sales.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets across decorative paints, waterproofing, floor coatings and related product lines.
• Identify, track and develop new project opportunities, building a robust sales funnel and accurate forecasts.
• Secure product approvals from consultants, architects, developers and project owners, and follow specifications through to project conversion.
• Manage key accounts including developers, contractors, consultants and government authorities; conduct regular visits, presentations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Recruit, train and support contractors and applicators through seminars, workshops, mock‑ups and on‑site demonstrations.
• Plan and execute product demonstrations, mock‑ups and sampling activities for interior and exterior applications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project‑based sales within the construction or building‑materials sector.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with consultants, architects, contractors and key decision‑makers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on technical product positioning.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
