Audit Manager

About the role

The Audit Manager will lead audit engagements from planning through completion for a diverse client base in Ethiopia. Based on‑site in Addis Ababa, the role involves supervising audit teams, reviewing working papers and ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise financial audits for statutory, IFRS and donor‑funded projects.
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors, reviewing their work and ensuring quality.
• Coordinate with clients to understand operations, risk profiles and provide recommendations on internal controls.
• Manage audit timelines, resources and deliverables to meet client expectations.
• Contribute to the improvement of firm methodologies, quality‑control processes and business‑development activities.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in accounting and finance with professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Hands‑on experience in audit management or senior audit roles, preferably in a public audit firm.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills.
