About the role

We are hiring a Branch Accountant to join Meftihe Microfinance Institution’s head office. This permanent position will support the financial operations of the branch and contribute to the institution’s mission of financial inclusion.

Meftihe Microfinance S.C. is a financial institution based in Ethiopia that provides micro‑finance services to underserved individuals, micro‑entrepreneurs, small businesses, and low‑income households. The organization emphasizes accessibility, flexibility, and responsible lending, reaching clients in both urban and rural communities while fostering local economic growth, women’s empowerment, and SME development.

Key responsibilities

    Required profile

    • BA in Accounting, Management or a related field (COC required) or a diploma with at least four years of study.
    • Minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience for BA holders.
