Internal Audit Officer

About the role

Meftihe Microfinance S.C. is looking for a qualified Internal Audit Officer to join its Head Office team. The role supports the institution’s mission of expanding financial inclusion by ensuring robust internal controls and compliance across all operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic internal audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
• Identify control weaknesses, recommend corrective actions, and monitor implementation.
• Prepare audit reports for senior management and the board of directors.
• Assist in developing and updating audit policies, procedures, and risk assessment frameworks.
• Collaborate with business units to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• BA or College Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant audit or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
