Branch Business Manager I – Addis Ababa

About the role

The Branch Business Manager I will lead the Addis Ababa branch in achieving growth targets, enhancing customer acquisition, and expanding market share. Reporting to senior bank leadership, the role focuses on delivering sales performance and operational excellence while aligning with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer acquisition and sales performance across the branch.
• Implement strategic initiatives that support business goals and market expansion.
• Mobilize and allocate resources efficiently to meet operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Respond to client enquiries, provide advice, and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor branch performance metrics and report results to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, Management, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of financial products, services, and modern service‑delivery practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coach staff, and achieve measurable results.
• Excellent analytical, risk‑management, and decision‑making capabilities.
