Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB (Bahir Dar District)

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB will lead business development for the branch in the Bahir Dar district, focusing on interest‑free banking products. You will be responsible for growing deposits, financing and investment portfolios while strengthening relationships with existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and lead business development activities for the branch in the assigned region.
• Attract, deepen and manage financial relationships to achieve deposit, interest‑free financing and investment growth targets.
• Promote and cross‑sell the bank’s products and services to existing customers.
• Ensure compliance with credit, risk and regulatory requirements.
• Lead project initiatives and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Diploma or certificate in Islamic banking or finance is an advantage.
• Minimum six years of relevant banking experience, preferably in interest‑free banking.
• Strong understanding of Shari’ah principles, IFB products and associated risks.
• Proven networking and relationship‑building capabilities.
