Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB (Jimma District)

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB will lead business development activities for the bank’s Interest‑Free Banking (IFB) segment within the Jimma District. The role focuses on attracting new customers, deepening existing relationships, and driving deposit, financing and investment growth while promoting the bank’s full product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and control business development initiatives across branch teams in the assigned region.
• Attract, deepen and manage financial relationships to meet IFB deposit, financing and investment targets.
• Achieve overall business growth for the bank in the IFB market segment.
• Promote and cross‑sell other bank products and services to enhance value‑add relationships with existing customers.
• Maintain compliance with credit, risk‑management and regulatory requirements.
• Leverage networking and partnership opportunities to acquire and retain customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Diploma or certificate in Islamic Banking or Finance is an advantage.
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant banking experience, preferably in IFB or Islamic finance.
• Strong understanding of IFB operations, deposit and investment products, and Shari’ah principles.
• Experience with modern sales and marketing practices in financial services.
• Extensive background in credit, risk management and compliance.
• Project‑management capability and strong networking skills.
