Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB (Nekemte District)

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB will lead business development activities for the branch in the Nekemte District. The role focuses on attracting, deepening and managing financial relationships to achieve deposit, interest‑free financing and investment growth targets while promoting the bank’s full product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and control business development initiatives within the branch team.
• Drive acquisition and retention of IFB customers to meet deposit and financing growth goals.
• Promote and cross‑sell other banking products and services to enhance value‑add relationships.
• Leverage networking skills to expand the customer base and strengthen existing relationships.
• Ensure compliance with credit, risk‑management and Shariah requirements.
• Manage projects related to branch performance and IFB product rollout.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Diploma or certificate in Islamic Banking or Finance is an advantage.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant banking experience.
• In‑depth understanding of Interest‑Free Banking operations, products and Shariah principles.
• Strong knowledge of modern sales and marketing practices in financial services.
• Extensive banking background covering credit, risk management and compliance.
• Proven project‑management capabilities.
