Corporate Account Manager – Direct Sales

About the role

Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking a Corporate Account Manager to lead direct sales initiatives for its large enterprise and public‑sector customers. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Large Enterprise & Public Sector, you will be responsible for a defined portfolio of accounts and will drive revenue growth through acquisition, retention, and expansion.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned list of corporate accounts (TML) based on geography or industry vertical.
  • Develop and present segment‑specific propositions to meet customer needs.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets through new customer acquisition, retention, and upselling.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in corporate account management or direct sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or surpass sales targets.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with a results‑driven attitude.
