DevOps Engineer with System Administration Skills

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who combines strong system administration expertise with modern automation practices. The role will support and evolve our Linux and Windows deployment environments, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of applications from development to production.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch and maintain Linux and Windows servers, including IIS, Nginx and Apache.
• Design, build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and release processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible, Terraform or equivalent tools.
• Develop and maintain scripts in Bash, PowerShell and Python to eliminate manual tasks.
• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage virtual machines on VMware or Hyper‑V platforms.
• Configure networking components (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) and manage SSL/TLS certificates.
• Support database infrastructure (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB) and oversee storage and backup operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering both Linux and Windows servers in production.
• Hands‑on knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code and automation frameworks.
• Ability to work closely with development teams to improve release reliability.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for troubleshooting OS, network and application issues.
