About the role

The ICT function at UNICEF supports the organization’s mission by delivering secure, innovative technology solutions. As a Digital Impact Specialist you will lead and manage the ICT function in Ethiopia, fostering collaboration and building capacity to improve programme outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the ICT function and provide technical and operational support.
• Enhance governance, collaboration, relationships and capacity across the organization.
• Improve delivery of results through effective ICT service management.
• Foster innovation and promote best practices in ICT.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology Management, Business Administration or a related technical field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in IT management and business operations within a large international organization or corporation.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of another UN language or a local language is an asset.
