Director, Transformation Integration and Adaptation

About the role

The Director, Transformation Integration and Adaptation will lead the integration of Heifer International’s organization‑wide transformation agenda, ensuring coherence across program, operating, and business models while supporting distributed teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an integrated transformation architecture and whole‑system view across all transformation streams.
• Identify and surface contradictions, gaps, and unintended consequences within the transformation portfolio.
• Develop and maintain a practical transformation roadmap, assessing sequencing, organizational capacity, and prioritization.
• Establish rhythms for sensing progress, learning, and adaptation, linking evidence to decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including the Transformation Steward, TSC Core Team, network leaders, and partner organizations.

Required profile

• Senior leader with extensive experience in large‑scale organizational transformation, preferably in the nonprofit or development sector.
• Strong ability to see interdependencies, sequence work, and enable decision‑making across distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse internal and external partners.
