Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely executing planned and corrective maintenance activities on production equipment. The role focuses on improving key performance indicators, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with safety and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance tasks safely, on‑time and in‑full (OTIF) following LOTO and minor‑intervention procedures.
• Execute planned, corrective and legal‑related maintenance while adhering to HACCP and quality standards.
• Coach and train operators on autonomous maintenance (CILT) and assist with machine fine‑tuning and change‑overs.
• Tag and detag equipment, hand over to operators, and create follow‑up work orders in the CMMS.
• Participate in service, overhaul, RCFA/BDA (5‑why) and APM roll‑out activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S) and ensure proper documentation of breakdowns.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent vocational education.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proven troubleshooting ability and knowledge of TPM and autonomous maintenance.
• Certified to work with low‑voltage systems and competent in LOTO procedures.

Required skills

• Electrical troubleshooting and fault‑finding.
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and preventive maintenance execution.
• Proficiency with Windows, Office suite and Maximo (CMMS).
• Basic process automation control knowledge.
• Low‑voltage certification and LOTO expertise.
• Reading technical drawings (AutoCAD, P&ID, wiring diagrams).
• Understanding of HACCP food‑safety standards.
