About the role

As an Elementary Teacher at Bingham Academy, you will lead a classroom of young learners in Addis Ababa, delivering the Cambridge English curriculum within a Christian educational framework. Your mission is to inspire students academically and spiritually, shaping a generation that influences the world for Christ.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English, Mathematics and Science using the Cambridge‑endorsed Collins curriculum, preparing weekly lesson plans that cater to diverse abilities.
• Integrate Christian philosophy into instruction, classroom management and behaviour strategies.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, using results to inform future planning.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and the Learning Support Department to provide targeted support.
• Communicate regularly with parents, offering feedback on student development and suggestions for home support.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events such as Field Day and grade‑level activities.
