Enterprise Payments Product Manager

About the role

The Manager – Enterprise Payments will lead the strategy, roadmap and execution of the M-PESA Business product portfolio. This includes B2C, C2B, Open API, merchant payments and partner management, reporting to the Executive Head of M-PESA Products & B2C Segments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall product strategy and roadmap for the enterprise payments suite.
• Oversee execution of product initiatives across B2C, C2B, Open API and merchant payment solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration with digital and FinTech platforms.
• Engage customers to gather insights and use data to optimise product performance.
• Mentor and guide the product team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Identify, assess and manage risks associated with product development and delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product strategy and roadmap development for payment or fintech solutions.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams and drive collaboration.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience leveraging customer insights for product improvement.
• Leadership experience, including mentoring product teams and managing risks.
