Event Manager

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Event Manager to join our growing team in Addis Ababa. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will lead the planning, organization, and execution of a diverse portfolio of corporate events, brand activations, exhibitions, concerts, and promotional campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop event concepts, detailed project plans and budgets.
• Coordinate venues, vendors, sponsors and partners.
• Manage all logistics from setup through breakdown, ensuring smooth on‑site operations.
• Recruit, brief and supervise event teams and on‑site staff.
• Monitor event progress in real time and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners.
• Deliver events on schedule and within budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in event planning, coordination or management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and leadership abilities.
• Proven budget planning and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
