About the role

VSO is looking for an experienced Finance & Operations Manager to lead grant financial management, risk and compliance, and donor reporting for a large consortium programme. The role also oversees key operational functions such as procurement, asset management and logistics.

Key responsibilities

Manage grant finances, risk, compliance and produce donor reports for a multi‑partner consortium.
Oversee procurement, asset management and logistics operations.

Required profile

Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management or related field.
Significant experience in donor‑funded finance and grants management, including handling restricted grants of £5 million+ per year.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, audit and partner‑management capabilities.
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA are highly desirable.
Proven people‑management and collaboration skills across consortium partners and multiple stakeholders.

Experience with SUN Systems and Q&A XL.
