Finance & Operations Officer (Ethiopia)

About the role

The Finance & Operations Officer will support the establishment and execution of operational activities in Ethiopia, coordinating logistics, managing vendors, and tracking inventory to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operational activities and logistics coordination
• Assist in onboarding and managing vendors and partners
• Track inventory, supplies, and service delivery metrics
• Ensure proper documentation and record‑keeping
• Liaise with internal teams to maintain smooth operations
• Identify and promptly escalate operational issues
• Support implementation of operational processes and improvements
• Assist with field activities and on‑ground coordination when required

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Logistics or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or administrative roles
• Experience in a startup or fast‑paced environment is a plus
• Strong organizational, coordination and communication skills
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail and accountability
• Familiarity with the local Ethiopian context is an advantage
