Finished Goods & Fixed Assets Section Head

About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Ethiopia, is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Finished Goods and Fixed Assets Section. The role combines responsibility for warehouse operations, inventory control, and fixed‑asset administration, ensuring accurate records and efficient dispatch of products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control finished‑goods, warehouse, inventory and fixed‑asset activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock ledgers, bin cards and fixed‑asset registers.
• Register, tag, classify and track all company fixed assets, including location, custodian and value.
• Enforce FIFO, reconcile physical stock with ERP data and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory and asset verification, supporting internal and external audits.
• Safeguard assets against theft, damage or loss and manage related insurance arrangements.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate store and asset‑management staff, identifying training needs.
• Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety standards and implement corrective measures.
• Continuously review and improve warehouse and asset‑management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Supply Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, inventory control and fixed‑asset administration within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of internal control, audit, safety and asset‑management regulations.
